Global Payroll Director

AlphaSense is a leading market intelligence company that helps organizations make informed decisions through AI-driven insights. The Global Payroll Director will oversee the payroll function, ensuring accurate processing and compliance across multiple regions while managing a team of payroll specialists.

Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end payroll process for a 2000+ employee company operating in the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with local tax, labor, and statutory regulations
• Mitigate payroll risks through proactive evaluation of processes and implementation of best-in-class procedures
• Establish best in class reconciliations, internal controls, and review processes for each pay cycle
• Lead year-end processing including W-2s, P60s, T4s, and other country specific reporting requirements
• Partner with the HRIS team to maintain system integrity and data accuracy
• Collaborate with the Accounting, People, FP&A, and Legal teams to establish funding requirements, resolve issues, and provide payroll support as needed
• Maintain SOX narratives relative to payroll procedures and internal controls
• Support internal and external audits
• Manage, develop, and mentor a team of payroll specialists
• Promote a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement
