Health-E Commerce is seeking a Principal Data Product Manager – Platform & Ops to help shape the future of their modern data ecosystem. In this high-impact role, the individual will drive strategy and operations within the Data & Analytics team, co-own the product roadmap, and ensure the data platform delivers scalable solutions that support business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with SVP and Data team leaders to define vision and strategy; maintain and communicate the product roadmap; ensure alignment between strategic priorities and sprint planning
- Own intake and prioritization of requests; manage project pipeline; facilitate cross-functional meetings; guide business requirement development and ensure timely delivery. Partner with data engineering and analytics to deliver key projects
- Lead sprint planning and backlog management; co-author PRDs; establish documentation standards; support LOE estimation and release planning; implement best practices for agile workflows
- Serve as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders; create forums for insights sharing; drive clarity and alignment across departments
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies; support vendor selection and contractor onboarding
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in product management, strategy & operations, or technical program management
- Familiarity or working knowledge with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, Microsoft Fabric)
- Familiarity or working knowledge of data science and advanced analytics methodologies and implementation process
- Strong experience working in agile methodologies and using tools like Jira
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and deliver impactful solutions
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- BA/BS required
- Experience in data or analytics strongly preferred
- Exposure to MLOps or GenAI solutions shipped to production is a strong plus
- SQL proficiency is a strong plus
- Experience in e-commerce, marketing, or digital health is highly desirable
- MBA or equivalent experience preferred
