Technical Business Analyst 2

iSphere is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to play a critical role in a system rewrite project. The successful candidate will lead requirements gathering, perform gap analysis, and ensure alignment between business and technical teams during the transition to a new platform.

Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements sessions, document how the current system works, and define what the new system needs to do
• Identify gaps between the current and future state systems and call out what’s missing
• Help guide decisions on how to close those gaps
• Work closely with the technical lead to track progress and validate what’s being built
• Ensure that the new system aligns with business requirements
• Support testing and validate system functionality
• Ensure legacy and new data can coexist to support reporting and analytics

Requirements:

• 4–7+ years of Business Analyst experience in technical environments
• Strong experience leading requirements gathering and documentation
• Experience performing gap analysis between current and future state systems
• Experience supporting testing and validating system functionality
• Ability to run stakeholder meetings and keep conversations productive
• Experience working across business and technical teams
• Prior government project experience is required
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, or Microsoft Forms
• Experience with Jotform or similar workflow platforms
• Experience working with Excel-based data systems and reporting
• Data analysis experience using Excel or Tableau
• Familiarity with BABOK principles and SDLC
