Sphere is a company that collaborates with clients worldwide to embed technology and process into their organizations. They are seeking a Product Manager for a high-growth fintech client to bridge business needs and technical execution, focusing on identifying product opportunities and ensuring successful feature launches.
Responsibilities:
- You'll be the bridge between business needs and technical execution
- This is a hands-on product role where you'll identify what to build, define how it should work, and ensure it ships correctly and gets adopted by customers
- Dig into operational pain points, customer feedback, and usage patterns to surface high-impact product opportunities
- Partner with senior leadership to align product priorities with business goals
- Manage a backlog of competing initiatives and make clear trade-off decisions
- Own the end-to-end spec process — from initial problem framing through detailed functional requirements
- Bridge the gap between non-technical stakeholders and engineering by translating business logic into technical requirements
- Work closely with engineering and design to iterate on solutions before and during development
- Create launch materials, internal documentation, and client-facing guides for new features
- Monitor feature adoption post-launch and proactively address gaps in awareness or usability
- Track key metrics to evaluate impact and feed learnings back into the roadmap
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business discipline (finance, economics, engineering, CS, mathematics, or similar)
- 3+ years of experience in technical product management, business analysis, or a technical problem-solving role with demonstrable output
- Background in fintech, financial services, consulting, or enterprise SaaS
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, Power Query, formulas)
- Clear, precise communicator — both written and verbal
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities
- Proven ability to take a project from zero to launch with minimal hand-holding
- Scripting (VBA, Python) is a bonus
