The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with stakeholders, and developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with key personnel, decision-makers, and influencers at customer and prospect accounts
- Designing profitable pricing strategies to boost sales and margins
- Driving growth by identifying new opportunities and delivering strategic proposals
- Understanding customer operations, identifying challenges, and providing effective solutions
- Collaborating with internal teams and field representatives to ensure customer satisfaction
- Facilitating the startup and transition of new business to front-line account and service teams
- Analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to provide effective solutions
- Contributing to team development through mentoring, training, and recruiting efforts
Requirements:
- Must have Industrial Water Treatment industry experience
- A deep understanding of the industrial water treatment market
- A proven track record in sales within the industrial water treatment or related industries
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities
- Excellent strategic thinking abilities with a proven track record of successful business development
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical discipline, CWT preferred
- 7-9 years of successful B2B industrial water treatment sales experience, with a track record of growing revenue year over year
- Proven ability to generate $1MM+ in new business annually
- Willingness to travel frequently (75% or more) and work in diverse environments, including boiler houses, cooling towers, and water treatment plants
