Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior GEP Smart Product Support Engineer to support a large-scale Source-to-Pay Transformation Program. This role involves production support, troubleshooting, and post-go-live hypercare across multiple business units in a complex dual-system procurement environment integrating GEP Smart with SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide production support and resolve incidents in GEP Smart for materials and services procurement
- Troubleshoot end-to-end transaction failures across SAP Process Orchestration (PO) and GEP Click middleware
- Support Service POs, Service Confirmations, Vendor Catalogs, workflows, and user access
- Manage Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) including contract creation, approvals, amendments, and renewals
- Assist in migration from SAP SRM to GEP, ensuring data accuracy and business continuity
- Coordinate with SAP teams for issues impacting invoice processing and financial reconciliation
- Monitor and troubleshoot master data integrations (supplier, material/service master, cost centers, org structures)
- Identify recurring issues and implement preventive solutions
- Support business unit-specific configurations (approval hierarchies, roles, permissions, notifications)
- Execute SIT, regression testing, and UAT for enhancements and integrations
- Validate GEP Spend Analytics data across business units
- Work with Scrum Masters and stakeholders to manage backlog and participate in Agile ceremonies
Required Qualifications
- 3 5+ years of hands-on experience with GEP Smart platform
- Strong experience across:
- Materials Procurement
- Services Procurement
- Source-to-Contract (S2C)
- Spend Analytics
- Experience in hybrid procurement environments (GEP + SAP S/4HANA)
- Strong understanding of Service PO and Service Confirmation workflows
- Experience with GEP Click and SAP Process Orchestration (PO)
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting integration and transaction failures
- Experience with master data integration and synchronization
- Familiarity with Jira or ServiceNow for incident and backlog management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

- Experience in Utility / Energy domain
- Experience with Agile / SAFe methodologies
- Exposure to large-scale transformation programs
