Gulf Coast Automation Group is seeking a Business Analyst – Salesforce Commerce Cloud for a 12-month contract role. This position focuses on supporting a digital commerce transformation for a pharmaceutical client by bridging business needs and technical solutions across the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support discovery sessions to gather business requirements and define scope
- Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements and user stories
- Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions
- Support the design and implementation of Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2B and B2C storefronts
- Document and analyze current and future-state business processes, particularly around commerce and order management
- Assist in defining requirements for OMS integration and order capture workflows
- Partner with stakeholders to enhance customer engagement, loyalty, and digital experience strategies
- Support testing efforts, including UAT coordination and validation of business requirements
- Maintain and manage product backlogs, ensuring priorities are aligned with business objectives
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and offshore resources
- Contribute to continuous improvement and optimization of commerce processes
Requirements:
- Experience as a Business Analyst on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) projects
- Strong understanding of B2B and B2C commerce processes, including digital storefronts
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements for commerce platforms
- Familiarity with headless/decoupled commerce architectures and modern digital ecosystems
- Experience working with OMS (Order Management Systems) and SAP integrations
- Knowledge of order capture, checkout flows, promotions, and fulfillment processes
- Experience supporting customer engagement, loyalty, and personalization initiatives
- Ability to facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews
- Experience working in Agile environments, including writing user stories and managing backlogs
- Strong collaboration skills with technical teams, architects, and offshore developers
- Excellent communication and documentation skills in a client-facing environment
- Must be located in the U.S. and available for key meetings as needed
