The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing technology initiatives that support organizational goals, ensuring projects are well-managed and delivered successfully.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and track IT projects including scope, requirements, timelines, resources, and budgets
- Coordinate project activities across IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors
- Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies; ensure mitigation and resolution plans are documented and executed
- Facilitate project meetings, prepare project documentation, and deliver regular status updates
- Ensure projects follow established IT and organizational processes, policies, and standards
- Lead in gathering and validating business and technical requirements
- Support implementation tasks including testing, deployment planning, and post‑implementation review
- Maintain project artifacts such as schedules, reports, action logs, and change requests
- Collaborate with IT team members to support process improvements and ensure smooth project execution
- Deliver structured and consistent updates to leadership and program sponsors
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree Information Technology, computer science, business, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant project management or IT experience
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, O365, SharePoint, and collaboration tools
- Ability to manage multiple IT projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)
- Hands on experience working with Project Management tools
- Skilled in developing project schedules and tracking progress
- Effective risk identification, mitigation, and issue resolution
- Strong documentation and reporting capabilities
- Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, applications, and security fundamentals
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and Microsoft environments (O365, Azure, SharePoint)
- Ability to understand and translate technical requirements into actionable tasks
- Proficiency with project management platforms such as ServiceNow, Smartsheet, Jira
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to facilitate meetings with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Strong relationship‑building and cross‑functional collaboration
