Business Analyst III Medicare VBC

Centene Corporation is transforming the health of communities across the nation, and they are seeking a Business Analyst III to perform various analyses and interpretations to link business needs and objectives. The role involves delivering analytics and reporting for Value Based Care provider groups and translating data into insights to support leadership and provider partners.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various analysis and interpretation to link business needs and objectives for assigned function
• Deliver analytics and reporting for local and national Value Based Care (VBC) provider groups
• Leverage corporate Power BI tools to export, analyze, and visualize Financial performance, Quality outcomes, Risk adjustment metrics and Membership data
• Translate data into insights to support corporate leadership, health plan leadership, and provider partners
• Identify and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes
• Perform detailed analysis on multiple projects, recommend potential business solutions and ensure successful implementations
• Identify ways to enhance performance management and operational reports related to new business implementation processes
• Coordinate with various business units and departments in the development and delivery of training programs
• Develop, share, and incorporate organizational best practices into business applications
• Diagnose problems and identify opportunities for process redesign and improvement
• Formulate and update departmental policies and procedures
• Serve as the subject matter expert on the assigned function product to ensure operational performance
• Ability to travel
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of business process analysis (i.e. documenting business process, gathering requirements)
• Experience in healthcare industry, preferably with managed care techniques and administrative philosophy
• Experience in managed health care experience, preferably with Medicare
• Experience working with and leading diverse teams in matrix managed environments
• Ability to travel
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards
• Project management experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
• Experience leveraging SQL, SAS to access enterprise data warehouses
• Strong experience in understanding provider performance metrics, including Stars, HBR, Risk Score, Compliance rates, and APV rates
