About this role
Enercon Services, Inc. is looking to hire a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead their Federal Services Group. In this role, you will drive project success, mentor engineers, and build strong client relationships while ensuring quality and meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Lead teams with a positive attitude to achieve project goals aligned with ENERCON's excellence standards
- Interface with clients to ensure quality and deadlines on exciting design projects
- Lead various internal engineering disciplines and delegate project roles
- Prepare design studies, scopes, and engineering estimates
- Develop mechanical system procurement specs, evaluate bids, and select equipment
- Perform mechanical, HVAC, hydraulic, piping system calculations and solve complex technical problems
- Travel for walkdowns, field installations, and start-up
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university, or equivalent work and training in a related role
- Minimum of 6 years of design engineering experience in power generation, nuclear, federal, or industrial industries
- Requires 2 years of leadership
- PE is required for this role
- Writing, presentation and communication skills
- Proficient in Word and Excel
