SOCi.ai is redefining how multi-location enterprises achieve local and AI search visibility with its innovative approach. The VP of Brand and Market Strategy will lead the development of SOCi's market narrative and brand strategy, ensuring a cohesive and impactful presence across all communication channels while overseeing product marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Define and evolve SOCi’s category narrative, positioning, and messaging architecture
- Establish a clear, differentiated point of view that answers: why change, why now, why SOCi
- Ensure consistency of narrative across brand, product, sales, and executive communications
- Own SOCi’s brand strategy, identity, and voice across all digital and offline touchpoints
- Ensure a consistent and high-quality brand experience across digital channels, campaigns, events, and customer interactions
- Lead and scale a high-performing brand and creative organization
- Own SOCi’s earned and owned media strategy to build market authority and executive visibility
- Define the role of key channels including LinkedIn, YouTube, blog/editorial, PR, and industry publications
- Build and scale an always-on content engine that reinforces SOCi’s narrative and engages enterprise buyers
- Oversee development of thought leadership programs, including proprietary research, data insights, and executive POVs
- Partner with executive leadership to amplify SOCi’s voice across social platforms, speaking engagements, and media
- Lead SOCi’s communications strategy, including media relations, analyst engagement, and corporate messaging
- Elevate executive presence through keynotes, bylines, interviews, and industry influence
- Ensure SOCi maintains a strong and differentiated voice in the market
- Lead and mentor the Product Marketing function, including a Sr. Director and team
- Ensure product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies align with the broader market narrative
- Provide strategic oversight across: Messaging frameworks, Product launches and company readiness, Sales enablement and competitive positioning
- Step in for tier-one launches, strategic deals, and executive-level product storytelling
- Act as a senior product evangelist internally and externally when needed
- Partner with Product, Sales, Demand Generation, and Customer Success to ensure alignment across the full customer journey
- Drive consistency between brand narrative, product messaging, and revenue strategy
- Influence executive decision-making through market insights, customer understanding, and competitive intelligence
- Build a modern brand and communications operating system with clear KPIs tied to awareness, perception, and pipeline impact
- Establish measurement frameworks that connect brand investment to business outcomes
- Own budget, planning, and performance reporting across brand, communications, and product marketing teams
Requirements:
- 7+ years of B2B Product Marketing experience working in a fast-paced, high growth environment
- Demonstrated success in past Head of Marketing roles (bonus if you've led Product Marketing teams) - building, leading and mentoring high-performing teams as well as growing revenue
- Demonstrated success in navigating and influencing challenging dynamics at the executive level, including managing strong personalities and engaging in direct, candid conversations while maintaining professionalism and focus on outcomes
- In depth, hands-on experience with all core product / solution marketing functions - positioning, pricing, packaging, GTM planning, sales enablement, marketing research, competitive intel and product launch
- Demonstrated creative thinking with ability to develop new programs that generate awareness and intent, enable sales and excite customers
- Demonstrated ability to be both strategic and hands-on and juggle multiple initiatives with confidence and grace
- Excellent written and verbal skills, especially in the ability to distill the complex into simple, compelling messages that resonate
