Piper Companies is seeking a Project Manager (Sterile Injectable Tech Transfer) to support sterile injectable manufacturing programs within a growing CDMO environment. The role involves managing end-to-end customer projects, focusing on technology transfer, scale-up, and commercial readiness at a sterile manufacturing site.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional tech transfer projects for sterile injectable products from customer handoff through commercial manufacturing
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets in a fast-paced CDMO setting
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate aseptic filling (vials and prefilled syringes), lyophilization (as applicable), and packaging readiness
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Validation teams to support PPQ, scale-up, and launch execution
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field
- 5+ years of project management experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Hands-on experience managing sterile injectable tech transfer programs
- Strong knowledge of aseptic processing, sterile fill-finish, and cGMP requirements
- Direct experience in a CDMO environment
