
Client is seeking an experienced, onsite LIMS Subject Matter Expert and Technical Project Liaison for a Clinical Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) implementation project.
In addition to providing general LIMS subject matter expertise, the consultant would have the following responsibilities:
Supporting consistent, clear communication across all project groups.
Interpreting and communicating laboratory, technical, and operational requirements to relevant personnel.
Coordinating onsite activities related to User Acceptance Testing and workflow deployment.
Recording onsite challenges, risks, and impacts, and escalating them to JMC PMs, Lab leadership, and IT as appropriate.
Assisting laboratory personnel as they learn the new LabWare LIMS and transition from the current Horizon system.
Troubleshooting workflow issues within the LIMS environment.
Contributing to change management efforts by identifying needed updates to lab practices, system functions, and implementation activities.
Reviewing JMC project status reports and participating in project status meetings.
Maintaining a fulltime onsite presence to support all project activities.
NOTE: This is a higher-level position, requiring broad and deep expertise in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
