Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and close new contract and direct-hire staffing opportunities within the manufacturing, industrial, and power delivery sectors
- Strategic Prospecting: Build a robust pipeline through cold calling, LinkedIn networking, and industry-specific lead generation
- Consultative Selling: Act as a subject matter expert for clients, providing insights on market pay rates, labor trends, and retention strategies
- Account Management: Navigate the full sales cycle from initial discovery to contract negotiation and ongoing relationship management
- Collaboration: Partner with our recruiting team to ensure a deep understanding of technical requirements for every specialized requisition
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4+ years specifically in staffing sales within the manufacturing or industrial sectors
- Proven ability to work independently and manage a sales territory from a home-office environment
- Deep understanding of manufacturing and power delivery roles (I&E, Maintenance, Process Engineering) and the associated labor burden/markup models
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Tracker RMS) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to 'speak the language' of shop-floor supervisors and C-suite executives alike
- A minimum of 4 years of demonstrable professional experience
- A minimum of 2 years of direct experience within the staffing or recruitment industry, with a preference for candidates possessing a background in engineering
- A BS in Business or equivalent relevant experience
- An established professional network capable of generating new business opportunities
- A proven track record of effectively qualifying prospective clients
