Zillow is seeking a strategic and commercially-minded Director of Product Marketing to lead the product marketing function within Agent Marketing. The role involves defining positioning, segmentation, pricing strategy, and go-to-market frameworks that enhance agent acquisition and engagement. The Director will also build and lead a high-performing team responsible for portfolio strategy and lifecycle optimization, ensuring effective execution of Zillow's agent solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end product marketing strategy for Zillow’s agent-facing portfolio, driving clear differentiation and compelling positioning that resonates with real estate agents
- Develop scalable messaging and value proposition frameworks across the agent lifecycle—from acquisition and adoption to retention and expansion—grounded in deep agent insights, competitive intelligence, and marketplace dynamics
- Collaborate with Product, Strategy, and Finance on pricing and packaging strategy, aligning value realization with willingness to pay and long-term revenue growth
- Represent product marketing strategy, trade-offs, and performance results to executive stakeholders
- Lead the go-to-market strategy for new product launches
- Partner closely with Growth, Field, and Brand leaders to ensure alignment between positioning and campaign strategy
- Synthesize sales insights, customer feedback, and market data to shape product roadmap priorities while defining and evolving agent personas and segmentation to inform targeted strategies
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of Product Marketers, establishing strong operating rhythms and accountability standards
- Foster a culture of analytical rigor, customer empathy, and cross-functional collaboration that strengthens Zillow’s marketplace advantage
Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in product or product marketing leadership roles
- 6+ years of people leadership experience, including management of senior-level talent
- Demonstrated ownership of multi-year strategy and revenue-driving initiatives
- Experience in B2B, marketplace, SaaS, or platform-based environments
- Strong executive communication skills with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders
- Data-driven mindset with strong financial and analytical acumen
