Description
Rick’s Ranchwear is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. Our warehouse plays a vital role in supporting eight retail locations by ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
In this role, you will assist the Warehouse Manager with daily operations including shipping, receiving, replenishment, and maintaining inventory accuracy. You will also be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing warehouse staff to ensure efficiency and productivity.
This is a working manager position, meaning you will work alongside the team each day to help accomplish warehouse goals and maintain a high standard of performance.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Occasional Saturday mornings as needed
Requirements
Essential Responsibilities
- Achieve customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
- Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
- Communicate job expectations and coach employees
- Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status
- Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
- Confer and coordinate activities with other departments
Physical Requirements
- (Lifting up to 75 pounds, bending, climbing, reaching, and standing/walking for the entire shift)
- Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation.
- Ability to freely access all areas of the warehouse.
- Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the warehouse.
- Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the warehouse generally weighing 0-75 pounds.
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse/distribution leadership experience (required)
- Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and make decisions independently
- Current Fork Lift Certification (must show proof)
- Minimum OSHA-30 10 hour certification, or willingness to complete certification within 30 days
- Bi-Lingual in Spanish and English
- Strong written and verbal communications required
- Ability to asses' situations and make decisions quickly
- Basic Computer Skills
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
