The Field Services Engineer role involves performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Plasma-Therm equipment while providing technical support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform field service tasks such as installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Plasma-Therm equipment
- Work with customers to provide technical support, carry out preventive maintenance, and address technical issues efficiently
- Act as a key liaison to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction by resolving technical concerns and ensuring operational success
Requirements:
- Experience in Field Service and Preventive Maintenance to install, maintain, and service advanced equipment for optimal performance
- Strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support abilities to analyze, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues efficiently
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills to address client concerns professionally and ensure satisfaction and strong client relationships
- Knowledge of semiconductor equipment or related technologies is highly desirable
- Ability to travel to customer sites as required, sometimes with short notice
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent technical certification or relevant experience may be considered
