As a Field Sales Development Specialist, you will manage and develop multiple large regional accounts, focusing on field training and development while collaborating with Product and Regional Sales managers to set sales strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop multiple large regional accounts in alignment with Product and Regional Sales managers
- Focus on field training and development, with the goal of eventually taking the lead in setting sales strategies and working with the territory sales representatives
- Work closely with the Auto and Home Product managers and business development consultants to assist the regional sales manager(s) with agent state messaging
- Be a driving influence on growth strategies, retention, and agent quality
Requirements:
- A minimum of eight years outside business to business sales experience or territory management experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of five years outside business to business sales experience or territory management experience
- This position requires compliance with Progressive's driving standards and/or policy
- This position requires a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Working knowledge of Opportunity Management or experience managing a strategic sales pipeline
- Experience in managing highly diverse, large, complex accounts
- Experience supporting a sales organization and experience coaching and developing sales talent
- Proficient in Counselor Sales Person and strategic selling skills
- Skilled in change management strategies and influencing others to work together towards common goals
