The Project Manager is responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of client engagements, requiring leadership in planning, executing, and finalizing complex projects while ensuring client satisfaction and alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects
- Implement and support proper project life cycle and required processes and workflows
- Create and own the project roadmap and delivery schedule, ensuring alignment with overall objectives
- Perform project scheduling and planning with project leads
- Prepare regular project status reports and organize project status meetings
- Escalate project-related issues to the Program Manager on time
- Monitor project execution
- Function as a strategic advisor to clients, managing expectations and providing transparent updates on project health
- Establish proper communication channels between teams and customers
- Work with project leads to ensure the right talent is assigned to the right tasks without causing burnout
- Identify potential 'scope creep' early and manage the change request process
- Proactively mitigate technical and timeline risks
- Maintain and actively manage the project risk register, dependencies, and timelines
- Manage project health through diligent tracking of burn rates, billable utilization, and overall profitability against the Statement of Work (SOW)
- Ensure that the final delivery meets both the technical specifications and the client’s business objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Management, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of project management experience required
- Healthcare or FinTech experience required
- Professional certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) is highly desirable
- Proficiency in collaborative technology such as Microsoft, Google Suite, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), and/or JIRA/ADO
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation skills, active listening, negotiation, conflict resolution, and effective escalation management
- Experience in product management
- Experience in customer success management
- Technical background
- Consulting experience, experience working in a billable hour environment
- Ability to assist the sales team with scoping and estimating new project proposals (Pre-sales)
