About this role
AppWorks is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead MMIS delivery for Medicaid and Medicare projects. The role involves managing the SDLC lifecycle, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring timely delivery while interfacing with client stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end MMIS delivery including change orders & defect resolution
- Drive SDLC lifecycle from requirements through development
- Collaborate with Dev, Architecture, DBA, Release & Infra teams
- Ensure KPI/SLA alignment across multiple MMIS teams
- Interface directly with client stakeholders & leadership
- Mitigate risks, track metrics & ensure on-time delivery
- Work alongside AWS/cloud-based development teams
Requirements:
- 6+ Years in Project Management
- 3+ Years in Medicaid/Medicare
- Proven MMIS project delivery experience
- Strong experience managing software development projects
- Exposure to AWS/cloud migration environments
- Hands-on with JIRA, MS Project, Excel, SharePoint/Teams
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- PMP
