Senior Network Engineer

Global Technical Talent, an Inc. 5000 Company, is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to provide medium to high complexity network support activities. The role involves network engineering and administration maintenance tasks, analyzing processes for improvement, and participating in the network technology design process.

Responsibilities:

• Provide medium to high complexity network support activities including off-shift support
• Complete network engineering and administration maintenance tasks and analyze process for improvement
• Perform medium to high complexity network changes and implementations
• Participate in the network technology design process
• Analyze potential changes and enhancements to network software and hardware to determine impact on existing production
• Work as a member of a project team on business projects
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 8 plus years of experience installing and building network technologies
• In-depth knowledge of network hardware and software technologies and best practices
• Knowledge of a network technology discipline (e.g. IP Routing and Switching, Routing Protocols, WAN, Firewall, Packet Analysis, Infrastructure, Capacity Planning, IT Tools and other relevant technologies)
• Knowledge of the organization, processes and customers
• Previous experience working with Cisco System routing, Arista networks, FortiGate firewalls and Meraki wireless
• Knowledge of incident and change management principles and best practices
