Shield AI is a venture-backed deep-tech company focused on protecting service members and civilians with intelligent systems. They are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for their aircraft platforms, translating complex capabilities into clear value for customers.
Responsibilities:
- Own messaging and positioning for V-BAT and X-BAT across missions, customer segments, and global markets
- Bridge aircraft and autonomy capabilities into cohesive, mission-driven value propositions
- Create core marketing assets that drive alignment and impact — including sales decks, product briefs, and campaign content
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and GTM to ensure clear differentiation and consistent messaging across launches and campaigns
- Lead market and competitive analysis, translating insights into actionable positioning and go-to-market strategy
- Enable the sales organization with strategic content to articulate aircraft value proposition across technical and operational audiences
Requirements:
- 5–6 years of direct military aviation experience (e.g. pilot) required
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems, autonomy, or mission-based technologies
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to influence across Product, Engineering, and GTM teams
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills for both technical and executive audiences
- Passion for technology that protects freedom and human life
- MBA or other advanced technical or business degree
- Experience in product marketing within aerospace, defense, or advanced technology
- Proven ability to develop positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for complex technical products
