Onsite Professional Office Environment Job Description
We are seeking a Junior Site Support Technician to provide hands-on, in-person IT support in a professional office setting in Cincinnati. This role is ideal for an early-career IT professional who enjoys working face-to-face with end users, troubleshooting hardware issues, and delivering high-quality customer service.
You will serve as an onsite point of contact for IT support, helping ensure employees receive timely, professional, and effective technical assistance.
What You ll Do
- Provide onsite desktop and end-user support for office employees
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues including laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals
- Assist with workstation setups, device replacements, and basic software/application issues
- Support printers and conference room / A/V technology as needed
- Respond to walk-up and ticketed support requests with a strong customer-service mindset
- Escalate more complex issues to centralized IT teams when appropriate
- Maintain a professional, approachable presence in the office
Required Qualifications
- Associate s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor s degree preferred)
- 1 3 years of experience in desktop support, helpdesk, or IT support roles (internships and early-career experience acceptable)
- Strong hardware troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable providing in-person, customer-facing support in a professional office environment
- Clear communication skills and a professional demeanor
Preferred Certifications
One or more of the following certifications are highly desirable:
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Network+
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- ITIL Foundation (or equivalent)
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting Windows-based environments
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems
- Prior experience supporting users in a corporate or professional services setting
