The In-Life Projects - Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain project schedules
- Manage resources, activities, and deliverables across internal functions and external contractors
- Provide consistent progress reporting to stakeholders and participate in client reviews
- Work with key stakeholders to develop the project scope of works and/or design
- Review method statements and risk assessments for Health & Safety and Business Continuity
- Produce and maintain project documentation
- Manage and supervise contractors on site as required
- Define and manage key project objectives
- Ensure necessary resources are in place and manage issues, risks, and changes
- Manage projects within budgets and report costs
- Demonstrate a fair quoting/tendering process has been conducted to ensure NTT obtains value for money and satisfies all Procurement policy requirements
- Conduct site reviews to inform project governance
- Secure resources from internal and external providers
- Prepare and update business cases
- Track and realize business benefits of projects
- Manage stakeholder influence and interests
- Integrate project outputs into business-as-usual
- Plan and control project finances
- Maintain a resource schedule to avoid bottlenecks
- Help develop frameworks for effective project management
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in Project/Construction Management or a related field
- Firm understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing, and Building systems
- Project Management experience with commercial specialty and/or general construction firms
- Ability to deliver construction retrofit projects in active mission critical environments (hospital, higher education, data centers, emergency response centers, etc.)
- Proven track record in the establishment, development and leading multi-region project management teams
- Demonstrable experience of fundamental project management principles
- Ability to teach and guide team members through changing environments
- Ability to prepare, present and summarize information to all audience types
- Willing and able to travel
- Proficient in English language both written and verbal
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, project Management or a related field / equivalent experience strongly preferred
- Working Knowledge of Plan Do Check Act (Deming cycle) highly desirable
- Recognized European Health and Safety Qualification highly desirable
- Second European language written and verbal desirable
- Professional licenses or certifications such as PMP or PMI are desirable
