Senior Product Designer – Mobile

Mercury is a fintech company focused on creating modern banking solutions for entrepreneurs. They are seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of their mobile experience, transforming complex financial workflows into intuitive interactions and collaborating closely with product managers and engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design for major mobile initiatives from concept through launch and iteration
• Shape the vision for Mercury’s native iOS and Android experiences
• Turn complex financial workflows into simple, intuitive interactions
• Work closely with product managers and engineers to decide what to build and why
• Prototype ideas quickly to explore direction, test assumptions, and refine details
• Design polished, production-ready interfaces with exceptional craft and precision
• Contribute to our design systems and help evolve patterns across platforms
• Raise the quality bar for interaction, visual design, and product thinking across the team

Requirements:

• 6+ years designing high-quality product experiences
• Strong visual and interaction design skills with a sharp eye for detail
• Experience designing complex systems, not just individual screens
• Ability to work through ambiguity and drive projects forward independently
• Clear communicator who can articulate decisions and influence product direction
• Experience designing native mobile apps (iOS and/or Android)
• Thoughtful collaborator who makes teammates better
