Uber is seeking a Product Designer II to join their Discovery team focusing on user-generated content (UGC) to enhance the delivery experience. The role involves designing engaging experiences for consumers and influencing product strategy while collaborating with a diverse team to solve complex design challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Design innovative experiences that help consumers contribute UGC in fun and engaging ways to make our overall ecosystem more social and robust
- Influence product and shape strategy and direction for big company bets
- Break down large ambiguous problems into simple solutions and drive them from concept through completion
- Explore new and creative ways to merchandise our growing selection of products throughout the end to end user journey, including novel interactions and design patterns
- Raise the bar on design quality across the organization
- Think systematically, to make experiences as scalable as they are elegant and delightful
- Design solutions for customers across our global markets
