Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Manager of Product Analysis to join their Business Lines Package & Specialty Program Delivery team. This role involves managing a team of analysts to implement new pricing models and ensure accurate product specifications for state markets, contributing to profit and growth goals.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 2-4 analysts: overseeing priority alignment, ensuring high-quality project and work outputs and supporting analyst growth and development
- Have and oversee ownership of state product builds: you and your analysts will autonomously own and execute implementations of new pricing programs for small commercial package and specialty products (i.e. property, liability, business owner’s package, and farm)
- You will leverage and inspire technical and data skills – to ensure new pricing models are calibrated (i.e. priced) accurately and appropriately
- You will leverage and inspire project management skills – to ensure your states are built and implemented accurately and on time
- You will collaborate with many stakeholders – to ensure product specifications are built correctly and Department of Insurance filings have an optimal chance for approval
- You will support many communications – both formal and informal, that ensure informed consensus and accurate implementations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, information management, economics, or another quantitative field
- Minimum of four years of relevant work experience
- Advanced knowledge of data sources, tools, software applications and business drivers
- Advanced knowledge of business operations, policies, procedures, and priorities, to include a strong understanding of the function's value chain and market conditions
- Demonstrated ability to exercise influence, engage employees; communicate effectively; promote collaboration, team work and change initiatives; and build value for customers through a service orientation, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Displays solid business acumen and integrated thinking
- Competencies typically acquired through a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience to include business analysis work and prior experience working in an effective leadership capacity
- MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative field
- Direct (or at least indirect) experience managing others
- Proficient with data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint and data analysis software (ex. SAS or SQL)
- Experience with project management and/or product delivery
- Background in national or small commercial insurance products
- Proactive, autonomous and willing to influence others
