They are seeking a Business Analyst to support the Insurance Discovery team by partnering with stakeholders to drive innovation, improve processes, and enhance efficiency through data analysis and technical liaison activities.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and deliver comprehensive data analysis reports to internal stakeholders and client leadership
- Serve as the primary technical intermediary between clients and internal development/configuration teams
- Demonstrate a meticulous approach to the creation and maintenance of internal standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical guides, and user manuals, ensuring all documentation is accurate, accessible, and detail-oriented
- Develop, execute, and maintain sophisticated scripts designed to audit client data files
- Deliver exceptional customer service and account management, fostering high-level client satisfaction and maintaining R1’s reputation as a premier strategic partner
- Provide high-tier technical support for legacy systems through their decommissioning
- Function as a high-impact team contributor, collaborating across departments to drive operational excellence and support a culture of collective success
Requirements:
- Healthcare revenue cycle experience preferred, including exposure to hospital and/or professional billing
- 2+ years of SQL development experience; Spark SQL/Databricks experience preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a technical support or client-facing technical role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills for data analysis
- Experience with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication, with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Health System Revenue Cycle domain expertise preferred
