CBL Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Business Systems Analyst with strong Workday HCM expertise to support a large-scale divestiture initiative. This role will act as a key liaison between HR, IT, and external vendors, ensuring smooth coordination across Workday-related workstreams.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a bridge between HR stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors , translating technical concepts into business-friendly insights
- Support Workday HCM workstreams , ensuring alignment across multiple functional and technical teams
- Create and maintain functional documentation , including requirements, integration flows, and migration strategies
- Perform data validation and testing , ensuring accuracy and integrity during system separation
- Coordinate with external partners to ensure deliverables align with project timelines
- Track open items, identify risks, and drive issues to resolution
- Manage backlog, dependencies, and updates across tools like JIRA, MS Project, and Smartsheet
Requirements:
- Strong functional expertise in Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, Time Tracking)
- Solid understanding of Workday frameworks, including business process flows, security model, and organizational structures
- Working knowledge of Workday integrations (EIB, Workday Studio, Cloud Connect)
- Proven experience in requirements gathering and functional documentation
- Strong background in data validation, testing cycles, and data integrity checks
- Experience working as a liaison between business, technical teams, and external vendors
- Hands-on experience coordinating with implementation partners (e.g., Cognizant, Accenture, etc.)
- Proficiency with JIRA, MS Project, Excel, and Smartsheet
- Experience supporting M&A, divestiture, or Workday tenant separation projects
- Ability to work independently with strong ownership and proactive communication
