About this role
Yochana is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead IT projects within the Telecom sector. The role involves managing end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving innovation in Telecom operations.
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with telecom business needs
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation
- Monitor progress and ensure timely delivery within budget
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including network engineers, software developers, and business analysts
- Act as the primary liaison between IT teams and telecom business units
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management
- Manage IT system implementations such as OSS/BSS (Operational Support Systems / Business Support Systems)
- Oversee integration of telecom applications (CRM, billing, ERP, network management tools)
- Ensure compliance with telecom industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations
- Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field
- 7+ Years of project management experience, with at least 3 Years in Telecom IT projects
- Strong knowledge of telecom systems (OSS/BSS, billing, CRM, ERP)
- Proficiency in Project Management Tools (MS Project, Jira, Trello)
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Master's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field
- PMP/Prince2 certification
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced telecom environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with vendors and third-party service providers
- Knowledge of emerging telecom technologies (5G, IoT, cloud-based solutions)
