TriWest Healthcare Alliance is dedicated to serving America's heroes by connecting them to healthcare in their communities. The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for establishing creative solutions and visual designs for software initiatives, as well as improving user experience across company websites. This role involves collaboration with various teams to analyze and organize content and deliver user-centered design specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Execute and deliver creative design deliverables
- Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
- Assist with the design of TriWest's internal and external website(s) and portal(s)
- Execute and maintain the 'creative vision' by determining and implementing the creative design and branding
- Maintain strategic design and user-experience in decisions related to core, and new functions and features
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Create and effectively arrange graphics, images and other content into a creative, cohesive and visually stimulating end-user experience
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with business representatives, business analysts, application developers, Communications staff and other business entities as needed
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Remain current with interactive design and user experience trends
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, Fine Arts or equivalent experience
- 5 years of professional experience with interaction and visual design for software user interfaces in an agile development environment
- 3 years of proven experience with interactive and visual design as a UI/UX designer of mobile and native web initiatives
- Experience communicating with both technical and business audiences
- Experience in design, layout and production of print materials
- Ability to evaluate business requirements and design interactive user experiences
- Portfolio of design projects
- Experience creating sketches, Information Architecture maps, process flows, storyboards and sitemaps
- Experience designing and developing web sites using responsive web design
- Experience designing for mobile applications (Apple Store, Google Play Store, Microsoft Store, etc)
- Basic understanding of technical platforms (HTML, CSS, .NET, JavaScript, etc.)
- Knowledge of developing prototypes to illustrate function and look
- Aware of UI design best practices, trends, and techniques
- Experience with cross team interaction and dissemination of UI/UX documentation and information
- Basic understanding of web accessibility standards and Section 508 compliance
