Trustana is a B2B SaaS company based out of Singapore transforming how businesses manage and optimize product data. They are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate and qualify leads, build relationships with potential clients, and help grow their presence in North America.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Outreach: Proactively identify and engage potential customers through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
- Market Research: Identify key industry trends, potential customers, and strategic entry points into the US market
- Qualify Leads: Conduct initial discovery calls to assess customer needs, pain points, and fit for Trustana’s solutions
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing: Work closely with Account Executives and Marketing to refine outreach strategies and messaging
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities and customer interactions in the CRM
- Event & Webinar Participation: Represent Trustana in virtual events, webinars, and trade shows focused on SaaS and retail technology
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or lead generation (B2B SaaS experience is required)
- Strong communication and persuasion skills; comfortable reaching out to cold leads
- Experience conducting solution demos and turning those into qualified discussions
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
- Understanding of SaaS sales cycles and consultative selling
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and thrive in a remote work environment
