The Growth Marketing Strategist will advise clients on growth marketing strategies, identify resource gaps, and help deploy the right marketing talent to achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Strategize with clients to develop full-funnel growth marketing strategies and scope out the work
- Assemble individuals or teams of folks from Right Side Up to help the client achieve their objectives
- Shepherd opportunities from initial exploratory conversation through to the kick-off of new engagements
- Have a front row seat (and be a key contributor to) the inner-workings of some of the most impressive marketing programs across a range of industries, business models and stages of maturity
- Build an incredible network with other marketing leaders, and hone your talent interviewing/evaluating skills across disciplines
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of experience in in-house marketing roles, and/or agency experience, focusing on growth
- A proven track record of scaling campaigns and managing complex growth organizations
- Strong project management skills with an ability to juggle many constantly-shifting priorities
- Proven experience managing a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with and relate to clients
- A flexible mindset and are willing to work across multiple verticals and industries- our clients range from SAAS to CPG to D2C and beyond
- A desire and willingness to step outside of a traditional growth marketing path and accelerate your career, even if you ultimately intend to return to an in-house role after your time at Right Side Up
- Our greatest successes in this role have t-shaped backgrounds -- depth in performance marketing with strong marketing chops in channels like paid social and search, and breadth across other functional areas such as e-mail marketing or SEO
- Additional management experience, or exposure to, more nascent functional areas is a big plus - marketing analytics, offline campaigns, ecommerce marketplaces
