Business Systems Analyst - GUS

The Business Systems Analyst role focuses on designing and building scalable technical solutions to enhance core enterprise systems, translating functional requirements into technical designs, and ensuring the performance of business systems.

Responsibilities:

• Provides functional configuration and testing expertise in core business systems
• Translates business requirements into functional specs and supports day-to-day system performance
• Independently configure system solutions for defined business requirements within an application
• Collaborate with product owners and business users to refine user stories
• Create, execute, and validate test cases across configuration and functional changes
• Document functional specifications and user procedures
• Troubleshoot common issues related to configuration, master data, and user errors
• Maintain security, compliance and audit standards
• Contribute to process improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies in the current config and process flow
• Track and improve metrics for system effectiveness and delivery processes
• Participate in release planning and ensure timely delivery of stories

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in business systems, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience required
• 2+ years years of experience in business systems configuration, functional support, or business analysis required
• Working knowledge of one SAP module (e.g., SD, MM, FI/CO) or similar Business System module; experience in relevant system config tools like SPRO, ALM
• Ability to write functional specs, execute testing plans, communicate with users, manage story-level scope
• SAP Learning Journeys, openSAP, or basic module-specific training encouraged
• Agile/Scrum familiarity preferred
