Cardinal Health is a healthcare services and products company, and they are seeking a Supervisor for their Customer Service team. This role involves leading a team of order processing representatives, enhancing customer business through effective management, and ensuring process consistency in service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing a team of direct reports consisting of order processing representatives for both commercial and Medicare customers within the Parachute platform
- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of: Order Entry, Insurance Verification, Prior Authorization, Medical documentation, including clinical note qualifications and interpretations
- Building trust amongst direct reports, peers, and business partners
- Establishing and maintaining process consistency through side-by-sides, auditing, and metrics
- Monitoring team metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Data analysis and disciplined problem-solving to determine critical drivers behind recurring defects and issues
- Frequent communication with upstream and downstream partners and focal HCP facilities
- May be required to be "on call" for weekend and after hour leadership- a shared responsibility with Customer Service leadership team
- Demonstrates a passion for the customer and HCP experience
- Proven history of continuous improvement mindset
Requirements:
- 1-3+ years in a leadership role
- High School or equivalent
- Strong communication and people leadership skills
- Knowledge of order processing area of medical documentation or insurance in Edgepark or CAH@ Home
- Experience in a healthcare or medical company
- Bachelor's degree
