Recru is a fast-growing, technology-driven company in the industrial and materials space, seeking a Business Development Executive. The role involves driving new business through aggressive prospecting and managing the full sales cycle, while building long-term customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect aggressively through cold calls, emails, and in‑person outreach
- Own the full sales cycle from first contact to close
- Spend most of your time on the road meeting customers (home‑based office flexibility)
- Use ZoomInfo for prospecting and HubSpot CRM to manage pipeline and activity
- Cross‑sell solutions across a multi‑product portfolio
- Travel up to 50%, depending on territory
- Keep administrative work light and focused
- Develop and execute territory and account strategies to drive sustained growth
- Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and evolving customer needs
- Provide ongoing feedback to leadership on product performance and market demand
- Build long‑term customer relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals
- Operate with a strong sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability for results
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role
- Proven track record of generating new business and closing deals
- Strong hunter mentality with a passion for prospecting and winning new accounts
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a full sales cycle
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Passion for technology‑driven solutions
- Comfortable operating in a startup or fast‑changing environment
- Experience or knowledge in energy, oil & gas, power generation, coatings, or industrial markets
- Existing network or relationships within target industries
