DigiCert is a global leader in intelligent trust, focusing on securing digital interactions through their AI-powered platform. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative who will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and qualifying leads while collaborating with Account Executives to grow the customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Source opportunities and qualify leads for Sales Organization
- Work both inbound and outbound leads with an expectation of doing 80 touches per day (via email, phone calls, social media)
- Communicate with key IT personnel, up to and including C-level executives, by phone, email, and social media
- Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of DigiCert solutions to become a trusted advisor to prospects and customers
- Uncover and qualify prospective customer needs, understand business processes, identify projects, determine requirements, and ascertain potential solutions
- Collaborates with marketing to optimize performance of campaigns
- Demonstrate initiative, creativity, and collaboration through ad-hoc projects for various departments
Requirements:
- 1+ year of sales, sales development, outbound outreach experience
- Desire to work in sales and in the cybersecurity industry
- Coachable, self-motivated, curious, and resilient, with a 'get the job done' attitude
- Well-rounded with varied interests, background, and experience
- Professional, efficient communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills (positive and personable)
- Proficiency in SFDC, Zoominfo, Salesloft/Outreach is a plus
