The Quality Engineer Senior role is responsible for supporting and improving the Quality Management System (QMS) within the Climate Solutions division, ensuring compliance, standardization, and effectiveness of QMS processes.
Responsibilities:
- Review, assess, and provide technical input on Climate Solutions QMS processes to ensure compliance, standardization, and scalability
- Support initiatives to modernize and harmonize QMS processes across Climate Solutions sites
- Create, revise, and maintain QMS documentation including procedures, work instructions, and forms
- Monitor QMS process KPIs and escalate gaps to the Manager, QMS
- Support ISO 9001 readiness and compliance activities for the Climate Solutions division
- Assist in preparing sites for customer and third‑party audits, including coordinating documentation and conducting gap assessments
- Lead or support corrective action investigations related to QMS‑linked audit findings
- Participate in internal audits as an auditor or team member
- Train cross‑functional teams on QMS procedures, workflows, and document control
- Support QMS software training and user adoption across Climate Solutions
- Support document control governance, ensuring accuracy, approvals, and standardization
- Assist with QMS software configuration and data migration
- Help maintain system integrity and compliance with document hierarchy requirements
- Support problem‑solving, RCA, and corrective action activities for systemic quality issues
- Assist in digital quality tool adoption and use data insights to improve QMS performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in quality engineering or QMS administration
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 (IATF 16949 preferred)
- Experience with audits (internal, customer, or third‑party)
- Strong understanding of document control and corrective action processes
- Analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience in Climate Solutions or HVAC manufacturing
- Familiarity with QMS or eQMS software
- ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA) or ISO auditor certification
- Experience supporting change management initiatives
