Zoom is a company focused on building the best collaboration platform for the enterprise. The Solutions Engineer role combines technical and sales expertise to serve as a trusted advisor, aligning customer needs with the Zoom Communication platform and supporting Account Executives.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and architecting next-generation communication solutions; conduct demonstrations and proof of concepts for prospective customers
- Leading solution design, selling activities, and RFQ/RFP response and preparation
- Building and sharing competitive intelligence while working across multiple boundaries to drive the Zoom vision
Requirements:
- 10+ years of technical experience in Collaboration technologies
- 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles
- Demonstrate business acumen, executive presence, and SaaS Collaboration sales experience (web conferencing, cloud voice, UCaaS)
- Demonstrate In-depth knowledge of traditional voice communications systems and AI-capable applications
- Communicate excellently with ability to present technical solutions clearly to diverse audiences
- Apply end-to-end IT systems knowledge to customer solution design
- Able to mentor team members, lead when needed, and thrive in high-growth environments
- Experience in AI, telephony, video, and application sales
- Knowledge of Zoom features like Chat, Meetings, Video, Phone, and APIs
- Familiarity with platforms such as Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, RingCentral, and 8x8
