FedEx is a leading logistics and transportation company, and they are seeking a Group Product Manager for their Digital Product organization. This role will lead a team of product managers to enhance the end-to-end pickup experience across various digital platforms, focusing on improving customer trust and reducing operational calls.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the Digital Pickup portfolio, aligned with the overall company goals, customer needs, and operational requirements
- Define measurable outcomes for the pickup experience
- Define and manage the digital product roadmap and release plan, prioritizing work based on customer demand, call drivers, operational performance, and feasibility
- Establish release gates and success metrics for major capabilities across the experience
- Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Work closely with engineering, design, operations, and customer support to deliver a consistent pickup experience across web, mobile, chat and partner integrations
- Collaborate closely with operations and operations technology teams to ensure success from pickup commitment through execution
- Champion a customer-centric approach, using funnel analytics, call drivers, customer feedback, and usability testing to identify opportunities, prioritize development, and validate impact
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer behavior to identify new opportunities and ensure the competitiveness of our products
- Communicate priorities, tradeoffs, risks, and results clearly to senior leadership
- Align stakeholders across product, engineering, operations, and customer support on what ships, why it ships, and how success will be measured
Requirements:
- 7+ yrs of experience in product management, with a proven track record of shipping and scaling customer-facing products in operationally complex environments
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. In lieu of a degree, 9 years of practical experience may offset education requirements
- 5 years of experience in product management, with at least 3+ years in a senior or lead product management role
- Experience in the logistics, transportation, or e-commerce industry is highly preferred
- Proven experience working with business stakeholders and operations teams to translate needs into technical requirements and product features
- Experience leading and managing a team of product managers
- Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity and align execution across platform teams, operations technology, and customer facing channels
