The role involves leading the Aerospace, Defense & Marine Project Management Office, overseeing project delivery, managing a team of Project Managers, and driving performance across the project portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery of a series of product development projects
- Management of the Relays project portfolio
- Line management responsibility for Project Managers
- Drive the performance of projects, team, and overall portfolio
- Execute best-in-class management of projects
- Supervise, guide, coach, and develop project managers
- Manage routine operational plans
- Own the monthly PAC (Project Approval Committee) for the Relays product group
- Pre-review of projects
- Facilitate the meeting and disposition projects based on business decisions
- Develop relationships and maintain communication with cross-functional global teams
- Act as the focal point for all projects across the portfolio
- Report progress to senior leadership team
- Interact with commercial functions to monitor opportunity pipeline and facilitate opportunity reviews and project launches
- All aspects of Project Management from opportunity development to project completion
- Leadership of a team of Project Managers in a complex matrixed environment
- Management of the AD&M Relays Project Portfolio
- Risk Management and leadership of Risk Assessment activities
- Development of Project Business Cases alongside the Business Office
- Reporting on Project status and being accountable for project progress against the Plan
- Escalation of issues as applicable and utilisation of project change controls
- Managing and being accountable for a project budget
- Liaising with procurement to ensure timely acquisition of goods and materials
- Liaising with TE team members, customers, and suppliers globally
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ year's related experience
- All aspects of Project Management from opportunity development to project completion
- Leadership of a team of Project Managers in a complex matrixed environment
- Management of the AD&M Relays Project Portfolio
- Risk Management and leadership of Risk Assessment activities
- Development of Project Business Cases alongside the Business Office
- Reporting on Project status and being accountable for project progress against the Plan
- Escalation of issues as applicable and utilisation of project change controls
- Managing and being accountable for a project budget, liaising with procurement to ensure timely acquisition of goods and materials
- Liaising with TE team members, customers, and suppliers globally
- Very strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills and the ability to build strong, credible relationships with multiple organization functions (internal and external)
- Able to take ownership of each of your projects, and the whole portfolio, and drive good decisions in a non-matrixed leadership position to deliver results

- Project Management Professional (e.g. PMP, Prince 2, APM certifications)
- A professional level of business acumen and good commercial understanding
- Experience with Planisware
- Technical and commercial education/experience related to Engineering and/or Manufacturing in a similar regulated industry
