EIT Project Manager II

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is seeking an experienced EIT Project Manager II to lead complex IT Information Security initiatives. This role involves managing projects end-to-end, partnering with senior leadership, and ensuring compliance and risk mitigation in various IT projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manages enterprise projects with little assistance
• Updates and maintains current project information within the established project management tool
• Manages scope and the execution of change management processes
• Ensures the procurement of hardware, software and human resources as needed for the project
• Manages project costs, and works with project owners, stakeholders, and delivery team to manage project quality
• Tracks and reports risks and issues
• Proactively evaluates project activities
• Builds contingency plans
• Executes corrective actions when necessary
• Implements risk response plans to manage risk

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience
• 4 years experience in business or information technology project delivery
• Strong PMO experience
• Exposure to Infrastructure & Operations and Information Security services
• Experience with data analysis using AI and/or building AI agents to streamline and enhance day‑to‑day work
• Stakeholder Management
• Strong Executive Reporting & Communication Skills
• Experienced in Agile, Scaled Agile, and Waterfall methodologies
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve project goals
• Must be a team player, be organized, and handle multiple projects
• Has a successful track record completing projects on time and on budget
• Must be comfortable with professionally challenging key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Prior BCBST PMO experience preferred
