Coalesce Management Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to support a portfolio of electrical transmission projects. The role involves coordinating project execution, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery across scope, schedule, and budget while managing multiple stakeholders in a collaborative utility environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple transmission projects from initiation through execution and closeout
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, planning, construction, and external stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risk mitigation plans
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and project continuity
- Lead project meetings, status updates, and reporting efforts
- Identify and resolve project risks, issues, and constraints in a proactive manner
- Support contract management, change orders, and project documentation processes
- Provide oversight of project execution while maintaining strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Foster a collaborative team environment focused on coordination and delivery rather than directive management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, with a strong preference for 10+ years
- Demonstrated experience managing transmission and substation projects within the utility sector
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and large project portfolios
- Strong understanding of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Experience working within utility or regulated environments
- Experience managing projects with budgets of $5M+
- Familiarity with Oracle-based project management tools (e.g., Oracle Unifier, Oracle Fusion)
- Experience working with major utility companies or EPC firms
