IT Project Manager

Accenture Federal Services is dedicated to helping the US federal government enhance national strength and safety through technology. They are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee large-scale federal IT projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives while managing budget, schedule, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the execution of large-scale federal IT projects from initiation to completion
• Develope comprehensive project plans and manage scope, schedule, and budget
• Document and analyze requirements to ensure alignment with client goals
• Coordinate engineering tasks and manage deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
• Mobilize projects, establish communication plans, and ensure stakeholder engagement
• Implement quality management processes and monitor performance metrics
• Allocate resources effectively and manage risks to maintain project health
• Monitor project performance, identify issues early, and develop mitigation strategies
• Lead change management efforts and ensure smooth implementation of project activities
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee contract compliance

Requirements:

• 5 years experience in a project management role, preferably in a federal environment
• Strong technical knowledge of software development, infrastructure, networks, and relevant technologies
• Proficient in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., MS Project)
• Experience with risk management, performance monitoring, and quality assurance
• Must have an active Secret clearance
• Excellent skills in budgeting, resource management, and stakeholder communication
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Familiarity with vendor and contract management processes
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification
• ITIL Foundation or similar IT service management certification
