Pega Business Systems Analyst, Constellation - Remote

They are seeking a seasoned Pega Senior Business Systems Analyst to play a key role in the migration from Pega Cosmos to Constellation, bridging business UX ideas and ensuring designs align with Constellation patterns.

Responsibilities:

• Convert business-defined UX concepts into: Case types, stages, and steps Views and view configurations Data objects and relationships Ensure designs align with Constellation patterns and constraints Challenge and refine UX designs that are not feasible in Constellation
• Lead creation and refinement of: Case life cycles Personas and user journeys Data models (case + data objects) Simplify and standardize workflows to fit Constellation best practices Identify opportunities for reuse across case types
• Drive design and configuration using App Studio (not Dev Studio-first mindset) Define: Views (forms, fields, layouts) Assignments and processes Partner with SSAs to ensure clean handoff for any advanced logic
• Enforce Constellation-aligned design decisions: Avoid unnecessary customization Prevent “Cosmos-style” UI thinking Ensure solutions adhere to: Pega guardrails Reusability and maintainability standards Act as the first line of defense before escalation to LSA
• Facilitate: Design workshops Playback/demo sessions Translate business feedback into actionable configuration changes Educate stakeholders on: What Constellation can and cannot do Trade-offs in design decisions
• Partner with LSA on: Design decisions impacting architecture Data model alignment Work with SSAs/SAs to: Clarify requirements Ensure accurate implementation Identify when requirements require: Custom components Integration changes
• Create and refine user stories with: Clear acceptance criteria Constellation-aware design context Ensure stories are: Build-ready Free of ambiguity Prioritize work with product owners

Requirements:

• 6–10 years total Pega, with at least 1–2 real Constellation implementations, and strong BSA + App Studio experience
• Strong personal initiative, drive, motivated to learn
• Strong written and communication skills
• Banking experience
