About the team
The Global E-Commerce Business Communications Associate will work closely with the ecommerce business teams and media corporate functional teams.
1. Business Communication Needs Assessment & Liaison
- Act as the bridge between business teams and the PR function by translating business needs into clear, actionable PR requests.
- Ensure communication efforts are closely aligned with business priorities and deliver measurable impact for key initiatives.
2. Content Review
- Serve as the gatekeeper for reviewing all external-facing business communication materials.
- Identify and flag materials that require additional review from Communication teams to ensure alignment with communication principles.
3. Brand & Content Strategy
- Support the development of business narratives at both category and platform levels to shape TikTok Shop’s brand positioning.
- Maintain the data repository and review process for externally shared business data requests, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Manage a centralized “Success Stories Hub” to showcase high-quality TikTok Shop success cases for media, partners, and other stakeholders.
4. Process Development, Gap Identification & Training
- Identify communication review process gaps and design effective workflows to address them.
- Develop and deliver training programs to improve team awareness, understanding, and adoption of communication processes and best practices.
