Comcast is a leading technology provider offering a suite of connectivity and managed solutions. The Network Engineer 2 is responsible for configuring, installing, and testing network equipment for managed WiFi deployments, ensuring customer satisfaction while working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the configuration, remote installation, testing, and turn-up of network equipment for managed service deployments complying with company, brand, and industry standards
- Coordinate and manage onsite technicians and contractors throughout the network deployment to uphold installation deadlines and ensure network installation is completed to the customer’s satisfaction
- Review designs of upcoming projects and work with internal teams to resolve any network design concerns
- Maintain consistent, effective, and professional communication with internal and external customers and third-party vendors
- Provide updates and support to appropriate stakeholders to keep them informed and aware of the status and progress of work activities and business issues
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
- Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime, as necessary

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2-5 Years of relevant work experience
- Legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment now or in the future
- Experience troubleshooting or deploying large, complex WiFi Networks
- Fundamental understanding of WiFi industry standards
- 3-5 years of experience supporting or deploying managed networks experience in the hospitality or large public venue industry preferred
- Hands on experience with one or more of the following OEMs HPE/Aruba, Ruckus, Juniper, Nomadix, Extreme Networks, Cisco Meraki
- Hands on experience with one or more of the following: Firewalls, Switches, Access Points, Wireless Controllers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage individual tasks
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
- Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime, as necessary
