HealthCare Recruiters International is a digital health startup focused on personalized therapy programs. The Project Manager will lead end-to-end project delivery, manage agile workflows, and coordinate between various stakeholders to ensure project success.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end project delivery—from planning and scheduling to execution and release
- Manage multiple concurrent development initiatives using Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Break down projects into manageable tasks, assign resources, and track progress
- Act as the primary liaison between development, product, QA, and other departments
- Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies
- Ensure alignment on timelines, deliverables, and technical requirements
- Identify project risks and roadblocks early; develop and execute mitigation plans
- Manage scope changes, communicate impacts, and gain stakeholder approval
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including timelines, requirements, and sprint reports
- Use tools like Jira, Confluence, Asana, or equivalent to manage and report on work progress
- Continuously analyze and improve development workflows, reporting, and team velocity
- Promote best practices in project management, documentation, and agile execution
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in project management within a software development or SaaS environment
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern development practices
- Proven track record managing technical projects across multiple teams
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in project management and tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence, Asana)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP)
- Experience in healthcare, health tech, or regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.)
- Familiarity with APIs, cloud architecture, or mobile/web app development processes
- Background working closely with both engineering and product management teams
