Benefits On Us is a leader in employee benefits, and they are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their fully remote team. The primary responsibility of this role is to market employee benefits solutions and schedule appointments with decision-makers at companies looking to improve their benefits offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Market employee benefits solutions to assigned territories and verticals
- Prospect, qualify, and schedule sales appointments with decision-makers
- Engage via phone (using a provided auto-dialer), email, and LinkedIn/social platforms
- Maintain detailed records in our CRM
- Collaborate with our sales and marketing teams for continuous improvement
- Track activity and performance; aim for aggressive weekly targets and pipeline growth
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of sales development, business development, or appointment setting experience (employee benefits/HR/insurance preferred, but not required)
- Comfortable working 100% remotely; excellent time management and self-discipline
- Strong verbal and written communication; skilled in relationship building and persuasion
- Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed targets for scheduled appointments or qualified leads
- Proficient with CRM tools and eager to learn new sales tech
- Own a computer with Chrome browser and have reliable high-speed internet at home
- Resilient, professional, and growth-minded
- Minimum one year of SDR, sales, or appointment setting experience
- Proven record in a high-activity sales environment
- Own modern computer, Chrome browser, and fast/reliable internet
