Lenovo is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for their Vehicle Computing division to drive strategic customer engagement with global OEMs and Tier-1 partners. This role involves blending technical solution leadership with business development to ensure successful delivery of vehicle computing solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth with global automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers, with strong focus on overseas markets, to scale adoption of vehicle computing platforms and solutions
- Own customer engagement by understanding technical and business requirements, translating customer needs into solution architectures, and orchestrating internal teams to ensure successful delivery
- Build and maintain multi-level executive relationships within strategic accounts, serving as a trusted technical and business advisor
- Lead customer evaluations and project execution, including proof-of-concepts, benchmarks, pilots, and customer demos for vehicle computing products
- Support end-to-end program success, from RFQ and design-in through samples, validation, and SOP (Start of Production) readiness
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights, sharing actionable frontline feedback with product management, roadmap, and corporate strategy teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, field application engineering, R&D, product marketing, operations, and partners to deliver differentiated, scalable solutions
- Represent the company externally at customer meetings, technical reviews, and industry events as a vehicle computing expert
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical field or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, solution architecture, or technical customer-facing roles within automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, semiconductors, or software solutions
- Strong understanding of automotive development lifecycles, including RFQ, sampling, validation, and SOP; experience managing global key accounts is highly preferred
- Solid technical foundation in vehicle computing, automotive E/E architectures, SoCs, software-defined vehicles, ADAS, or in-vehicle infotainment systems is a strong advantage
- Exceptional cross-cultural communication and influencing skills, with the ability to operate effectively across regions, functions, and seniority levels
- Results-oriented and self-driven, comfortable with ambiguity and complex stakeholder environments
